Painting trip: Painting week in Salzburg
What you can expect
Welcome to an inspiring painting trip to the enchanting city of Salzburg!
In the midst of the majestic Alps and the picturesque landscape, an unforgettable artistic experience awaits you that will inspire your senses.
For this creative break, we have a charming old villa at our disposal to paint in. Here, surrounded by historical ambience, we will wield our brushes and bring our artistic visions to life. Weather permitting, we will also paint in the garden.
In the painting course, participants paint exclusively with acrylic paints on canvas. There is no set theme; each participant is free to paint whatever their heart desires. I will introduce you to a variety of techniques, including my own pouring technique, which produces fascinating effects. Whether you are interested in realistic representations or abstract art, I will help you realize your ideas. The course is aimed at beginners and advanced students alike; I meet each participant where they are at and encourage individual growth.
We are offering two dates this year:
14.07. - 17.07. (Monday to Thursday): 20 hours of painting time, daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
18.07. - 20.07. (Friday to Sunday): 18 hours painting time, daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On the first day of each painting trip, we start with a warm welcome and a refreshing welcome drink. Afterwards, we immerse ourselves together in the world of colors and shapes to create our first works and further develop our artistic skills.
Once your work is done, the afternoon is free for you to discover the beauty of Salzburg. From the historic streets of the old town to the breathtaking views from Hohensalzburg Fortress - the city offers countless opportunities to lose yourself and find new inspiration.

The painting courses in Maria's studio in Nenzing or on painting days, e.g. near Venice, are characterized by Maria's high level of pedagogical competence and her importance as an artist. The ambience of the locations, which is characterized by Maria's careful selection, makes even the painting-free hours an experience. The group spirit is incredibly collaborative as a result.

This year was the first time I, a beginner painter, went on a painting trip to Italy with Maria and it was simply wonderful! She chooses very special places for her courses, takes a lot of time for the participants and is an inspiring and talented teacher. The atmosphere in our course was just great and everyone, from beginners to professionals, was able to develop and take home some great pictures. I will definitely be back again.
Maria can awaken great joy in painting with her ❤️-lichen way. Even less experienced "artists" learn to realize their own works and ideas with more self-confidence and courage.
