What you can expect
Rosa Cypria is located amid the rolling hills of Italy and combines traditional stone architecture with modern, minimalist design. Bright rooms, sweeping views of the valley and lake, and plenty of light characterize the peaceful atmosphere of the estate.
A pool, a small lake, and outdoor spaces invite you to leave everyday life behind and find peace and quiet. Rosa Cypria is a place to arrive, take a deep breath, and simply forget about time.
The special combination of nature, silence, and space creates ideal conditions for a creative break and intensive artistic work—far away from hustle and bustle and distractions.
The painting course offers you a unique opportunity to develop your artistic skills. In the painting course, we paint exclusively with acrylic paints on canvas. There is no set theme; each participant is free to paint whatever their heart desires. I will familiarize you with a variety of techniques, including my own Pour Art technique, a further development of the pouring technique that achieves fascinating effects. Whether you are interested in realistic representations or abstract art, I will help you bring your ideas to life. The course is aimed at beginners and advanced students alike; I meet each participant where they are and encourage individual growth.

We spent a wonderfully inspiring time in a picturesque location. Maria responded with great empathy to the individual needs of each participant. With a lot of patience, she helped me to immortalize my personal works of art on the canvas. They were great painting days in the Kaunertal. The feeling of happiness stayed with me for a long time in my everyday working life. The painting courses in Maria's studio in Nenzing or on painting days, e.g. near Venice, are characterized by Maria's high level of pedagogical competence and her importance as an artist. The ambience of the locations, which is characterized by Maria's careful selection, makes even the painting-free hours an experience. The group spirit is incredibly collaborative as a result.

This year was the first time I, a beginner painter, went on a painting trip to Italy with Maria and it was simply wonderful! She chooses very special places for her courses, takes a lot of time for the participants and is an inspiring and talented teacher. The atmosphere in our course was just great and everyone, from beginners to professionals, was able to develop and take home some great pictures. I will definitely be back again.
