Painting week: Hotel Post am See - Acryl am Achensee

What you can expect

The "Post am See" is located directly on the shores of Lake Achensee, surrounded by the Karwendel Nature Park. For more than 100 years, this beautiful hotel has been a place of peace and relaxation. The modern traditional house impresses with its unique location, as it is situated directly on the lakeshore. Enjoy the view of the clear blue of Lake Achensee or the impressive Karwendel massif from one of the sun balconies. A well-tempered indoor pool, a year-round heated outdoor pool, a separate whirlpool and a spacious sauna area with plenty of rest and relaxation zones and spectacular lake views round off your stay for a holistic sense of well-being. In the à la carte restaurant, on the sun terrace, in the See Bistro, but above all as a guest with half board, you will be spoiled with Tyrolean, international and vegetarian cuisine.

Painting Class In this painting class, we work exclusively with acrylic paints on canvas. I’ll introduce you to a variety of techniques, including my own “Pour Art” technique—an evolution of the pouring technique that produces fascinating effects. Whether you’re interested in realistic depictions or abstract art, I’ll help you bring your ideas to life.
The course is designed for both beginners and advanced students; I meet each participant where they are and foster individual growth.

Schedule During our week together, we’ll paint for 5 hours each day on 4 days in the hotel’s own studio, which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Achensee.
On the day of arrival, we’ll meet at 6:00 p.m. for dinner together and a relaxed get-together.
From Monday through Thursday, we’ll paint from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The afternoons are then yours to enjoy as you wish—to relax, unwind, or explore the beautiful surroundings of Lake Achensee.
Of course, even outside of our scheduled painting sessions, you’re welcome to use the studio and continue working on your paintings at your own pace.
Friday is our departure day, and there will be no group painting session that day.
