Experience a special week of painting at Villa Matador

Immerse yourself in a week full of creativity, relaxation, and special encounters at the beautiful Villa Matador in Chiemgau. Here, you’ll enjoy painting together, exceptional accommodations, and plenty of time to take in the surroundings and unwind.

Villa Matador is a special retreat where modern architecture, natural materials, and the beauty of the Chiemgau region come together. Here, luxury doesn’t mean five stars—it means tranquility, design, privacy, and an atmosphere where you can feel at home from the very first moment.
During our painting week, Villa Matador is reserved exclusively for our painting group. The villa consists of several high-end apartments, offering plenty of space and a particularly personal and cozy atmosphere.

Depending on the room, you'll either have a private bathroom or share one with another person from our painting group.

The apartments are very well-equipped and also feature kitchens that you're welcome to use during your stay—ideal if you'd like to whip up a quick snack now and then.

Painting Class In this painting class, we paint exclusively with acrylics on canvas. There is no set theme; each participant is free to paint whatever their heart desires.
I’ll introduce you to a variety of techniques, including my own “Pour Art” technique—an evolution of the pouring technique that produces fascinating effects. Whether you’re interested in realistic depictions or abstract art, I’ll help you bring your ideas to life.
The course is designed for both beginners and advanced students; I meet each participant where they are and encourage individual growth.

Schedule On both dates, you can look forward to a total of 20 hours of painting together. The breakdown of the hours varies depending on the date:

March 2027
On the day of arrival, we’ll meet in the early evening for an aperitif at around 5:30 p.m. (there will be no painting).
On the following days, we’ll paint from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
On the last day, we’ll clean up together after painting before everyone heads home.

August 2027
On the day of arrival, we’ll meet at 1:00 p.m. and paint together from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On the following painting days, we’ll paint from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
On the last day, after we finish painting, we’ll clean up together before everyone heads home.

Outside of our group meals, you’re free to do as you please. Throughout the entire painting week, you can return to the painting area at any time and continue working on your paintings on your own.

Or you can spend your free time however you like—on your own or with the others in the group. Explore the beautiful surroundings, spend time at Lake Chiemsee, go for a walk, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of the villa. When the weather is bad, the sauna—with its view of the countryside—is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

In the evening, we keep our get-togethers simple—for example, by sharing a pizza at the villa or having dinner by Lake Chiemsee.

Accommodations
We arrange accommodations for our participants.
Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m. (and possibly even earlier); check-out on the day of departure is by 10:00 a.m.

You can bring your own painting utensils or use ours for an extra charge of EUR 100.

Course fee: 905€ including VAT (excluding room and board)
