What you can expect
Would you like to develop your artistic skills and put people at the center of your painting? Then join me at the EigenArt Art Academy in Bad Heilbrunn, an inspiring place in the picturesque foothills of the Alps between Bad Tölz and Murnau (Germany). In the bright studios of the historic park villa, there is space for creativity, exchange and new impulses.
In this course I will show you my pour art technique, a further development of the classic pour technique. The paint is not poured at random, but applied in a targeted manner using a special spatula technique. This creates visible traces that give each work structure, depth and expression, powerfully and authentically, without spills.
The focus is on people in motion. Abstract, reduced, but still clearly recognizable. Together we will discover how posture, perspective and body language make emotions visible. We paint with acrylic paints on canvas and I accompany you individually on your artistic path, regardless of whether you are a beginner or advanced.

We spent a wonderfully inspiring time in a picturesque location. Maria responded with great empathy to the individual needs of each participant. They were great painting days in the Kaunertal. The feeling of happiness stayed with me for a long time in my everyday working life. Everything was just right: a great and very competent course instructor, a small painting group, enough space to paint, beautiful autumn weather, unique accommodation with a warm and open host and authentic cuisine of a high standard. The painting courses in Maria's studio in Nenzing or on painting days, e.g. near Venice, are characterized by Maria's high level of pedagogical competence and her importance as an artist. Her support and guidance lead to respectable success for all participants. The ambience of the locations, which is characterized by Maria's careful selection, makes even the painting-free hours an experience. The group spirit is incredibly collaborative as a result.

Maria knows how to pick up the most diverse "creative" people where they are, to bring them forward in an unagitated way, and to combine enjoyment and culture in the beautiful surroundings of the location. This year was the first time I, a beginner painter, went on a painting trip to Italy with Maria and it was simply wonderful! She chooses very special places for her courses, takes a lot of time for the participants and is an inspiring and talented teacher. The atmosphere in our course was just great and everyone, from beginners to professionals, was able to develop and take home some great pictures. I will definitely be back again.
Maria can awaken great joy in painting with her ❤️-lichen way. Even less experienced "artists" learn to realize their own works and ideas with more self-confidence and courage.
