Painting Weekend: Allgäu Academy of Art

What you can expect

Would you like to further your artistic development and put people at the center of your paintings? Then join me at the Allgäu Art Academy in Betzigau/Hochgreut, not far from Kempten.

In the spacious, light-filled studios of a former weaving mill, a special place for creative work awaits us. Nestled in the idyllic Allgäu foothills and surrounded by meadows and nature, the art academy—with its expansive spaces and cozy terrace by the stream—offers the ideal setting for three inspiring days of painting.

In this course, I’ll show you my “Pour Art” technique, a further development of the classic pouring technique. Instead of pouring the paint randomly, it’s applied deliberately using a special palette knife technique. This creates visible traces that give each piece structure, depth, and expression—powerful and authentic, without any mess.

The focus is on people in motion. Abstract, reduced, but still clearly recognizable. Together we will discover how posture, perspective and body language make emotions visible. We paint with acrylic paints on canvas and I accompany you individually on your artistic path, regardless of whether you are a beginner or advanced.

Treat yourself to three days full of color, expression, and inspiration.

A class that invites you to make movement tangible and emotion visible—in your own unique way.
